Zenite was designed for modern readers who crave a clean, focused, and distraction-free way to consume news. With an overload of content and cluttered interfaces dominating the digital news space, Zenite aimed to create a minimalist, elegant, and intuitive reading experience.
The goal was to strip away unnecessary elements, allowing users to engage with news stories seamlessly while maintaining a sense of calm and clarity.
As news consumption continues to shift towards digital platforms, many apps struggle with excessive advertisements, overwhelming notifications, and complex navigation. Zenite needed a solution that prioritized simplicity, personalization, and readability, ensuring users could stay informed without feeling mentally exhausted.

CHALLENGE
One of the primary challenges was designing an app that balanced minimalism with functionality. Many news apps attempt to declutter their UI but end up sacrificing accessibility or user engagement. Additionally, Zenite needed to provide personalized content recommendations without making the experience feel algorithmically intrusive.
SOLUTION
To address this, we developed an interface with aesthetic simplicity and intuitive navigation at its core. The design featured a neutral color palette, spacious typography, and a distraction-free reading mode, ensuring a seamless experience. The app’s navigation was kept minimal, with essential sections like Top Stories, Personalized Feed, and Bookmarks placed strategically for easy access. Smart content curation was integrated to provide relevant news based on user preferences without relying on intrusive algorithms. Animations were kept subtle yet effective, enhancing the experience without slowing down functionality.
